Each year, Women Who Pray Global undertakes a nationwide outreach initiative to support the less privileged, orphans, and vulnerable women and children. A town and specific location are selected at random for visitation, where we provide spiritual, emotional, and material assistance according to identified needs.
On this, I heard clearly to go out and feed God’s children. Despite going through a difficult time, I felt called to serve others; I obeyed the voice of God and went out to the grocery store, bought food items, and drove to a location as directed (Mesa, Arizona).
Giving has been a core part of my identity since I lived in Cameroon, and this experience reminded me of the profound joy I find in helping orphaned children and the less privileged. It was a powerful reminder of my mission to support those who need it most.
In April 2021, I launched an online hair store, KarensLuxuryHair. From day one, we committed to donating 1% of our sales to a greater vision. Returning to the same location, we were able to feed over 10 families—including orphans, single mothers, and the elderly. That deeply fulfilling experience ignited a desire to do more, ultimately birthing the Women Who Pray Association. Today, I coach and counsel women globally, teaching them the importance of charity, prayer, and the Word of God.
